Arbitration & Mediation
Arbitration is a method of dispute resolution in which a neutral third party, known as an arbitrator, reviews the evidence and arguments presented by the disputing parties and renders a binding decision. Arbitration provides a quick and private alternative to judicial proceedings, allowing parties to resolve disputes outside the court system.
While both mediation and arbitration are types of alternative dispute resolution, mediation focuses on facilitating communication and encouraging parties to reach a mutually acceptable solution, whereas arbitration involves a binding decision issued by the arbitrator to resolve the dispute.
